Daymon is a free, open-source desktop app that adds scheduled tasks, persistent memory, and background automation to Claude Desktop and Claude Code.
Verdict
Daymon fills a genuine gap: Claude has no native task scheduler, and Daymon lets users queue prompts to run overnight or on a cron-style schedule without API keys — it rides their existing Claude subscription. The 100% local, SQLite-backed architecture is a strong privacy story. The key limitation today is Claude-only compatibility, leaving users of other LLMs without a path, and Windows/Linux support is still pending.
