MeMakie's character creator turns a few prompts into a living AI character. You pick the name, the voice, the backstory, and the art style — MeMakie generates the avatar, writes a psych profile, and assigns the character a model brain that fits their personality. From the first message they have a point of view.
Open the creator and write a short description: who they are, how they talk, what they care about. MeMakie auto-generates a portrait in your chosen art style, builds a multi-axis personality profile, picks a model brain (some characters need a quick, witty model; others need a slower, more thoughtful one), and writes a couple of example quotes so you can hear their voice before you start.
What you can customize
Name, gender, age, archetype, voice (tics, accent, pacing), backstory (where they're from, what they've been through), abilities (for fantasy/sci-fi characters), art style (photoreal, anime, painterly, line art, more), tags (for the community feed), and starting context (what scene they're in when you arrive). The "how they talk" field is unusually powerful — you can tell the model your character drops articles, swears constantly, or speaks in run-on sentences, and it sticks.
Sharing & adopting
You can keep a character private to your account, or share them to the community feed where other people can adopt them. Adopted characters become a copy in the new owner's account — your original is unaffected. Community characters must be 18+, fictional, and safe-for-work in their public profile.

Free to use; the avatar generation costs a few coins. You can preview the character before saving.
Can I edit a character after creating it?
Yes. Personality, backstory, voice, abilities, art style — all editable. The chat picks up the new version on the next message.
Can I model a character on a real person?
No. Real public figures, celebrities, and people without consent aren't allowed in the community feed. Private characters are still bound by the platform's identity rules.
How does MeMakie pick the AI model behind my character?
A psychology pass tags your character along multiple axes (verbosity, archetype, intensity), and MeMakie maps that to a model tier. You can override the model in advanced settings.
Characters are AI. Replies are generated by third-party models and not endorsed by MeMakie.
